The football Shit, work is shit the country and the world is all shit, especially if you are bloke, enough to drive you to drink!

Not sure it's been banned yet, but what's your favourite after work place to down a few.

I'm currently having a fee in the pub underneath the arches at Waterloo Station. Forget the name as I'm pissed.

Nice pub though

Nearest one to my office, there's not a huge choice, all very generic and boring around that area.

This faux aggressive tough guy image you have come up with in the past year or so is quite funny though gavvy. You were far more believable when you were a racist wearing a god awful Christmas jumper.

The river side of the Highway (Wapping) is nice.

The Shadwell side is an absolute hovel. An expensive hovel but one nevertheless.

Entire area round there is full of some good Thames side pubs Soldo and they're proper boozers, not wine bars.

Still freaks me out walking round there, as I remember what the area used to be like 25/30 years ago before they turned it into the stunner it is today.

Anyone who never moved and stuck it out must be rubbing their hands together now.

Good on them.

The Gun was a massive favourite. Old school, darts, pool, shit toilets.Sadly gone

Shooting star, middlesex street, nice fullers pub. Modern but a good hidey hole. Something else now

Lord Nelson, Old Street. Another old school. Now a titty bar (the horns)

Griffin, Leonard Street. Absolute shithole but had cbarm. Now frequented by beards who see it as 'earthy', probably

The Gun used to be a guaranteed lock-in, as it was pretty close to a Police station.

Well, the Bill had to have somewhere to drink after hours after they'd chucked everyone out of everywhere else.

Station's gone now.

Love the Prospect Grumps... would always be an annual pub at least once in the footy season... last time there was 3 top class Russian hookers down there with their prey

The Gun is the only half decent pub I know on the dogs. My great great great grandmother use to own it.

Going to The Prospect of Whitby on Friday.

Lovely boozer (especially in the Summer) and was taken aback recently when my birds mum mentioned going down there in the 60's as it used to be one of the places to be.

She's from Manchester and then lived in Surrey and is not the sort of person I'd expect to be anywhere near an East London boozer back then!!

The Three Compasses Holborn in the the late 80s

The Wilton Arms - Hyde Park.

These come to mind in the UK.

Funny enough I'm off to one tonight where we all used to go after work The Freedom Firkin off the Champs-Elysee, Rue Du Berri. Been a very long time.

The country's only listed bogs.

Apparently the pub was fitted out to look like the inside of the titanic.

The Vines just along from Lime street by the Adelphi is just as grand. Obviously built in mind of very rich merchants. Now sadly a pub that attracts scallies with two shots for a quid deals. Hopefully it'll see a renaissance when the Adelphi gets bought out and done up in anticipation of the new cruise liner terminal.

Great pub, the Philharmonic. Must be amongst the grandest in the country. The Warrington in Maida Vale as well. More artwork than pub.
